Batch functions are available to import data from the business register into the tables for the observation units and provider, additional attributes (like contact person, telephone number, …) of these entities can be added to the data base and automatically added to the questionnaire, etc..

The implementation of the software at the data provider (respondent) is very simple and user friendly. The main reason is the variety of users and platforms to be expected there.

SuperCollect is designed to fit easily in the Statistical System of a NSI, by the choice of “natural system boundaries”. The advantages are:

• No integration (and thus high maintenance costs), when this is not necessary for the process.
• Easy to implement in the existing environment (even in combination with existing data collection systems).
• Use of de facto standards: easy understandable by the users of the system (within the NSI’s, but also by the respondents).
• Best practice in the maintenance of the software, without difficult procedures.
• Easy to secure.

In the following two subsections, the place of SuperCollect is shown in the environment of the business statistics as well in the environment of the social statistical system. Of course, only the most important functions of the system are mentioned. In the demonstration version of the SuperCollect System the inner functionality (without the real production environment on the internet server) is available.
