Management
Hans R. Stol (1947) is the general director of SuperCollect. He graduated in 1976 as a Master of Science in Applied Information Technology at the University of Delft. He specialised in the area between the management and the structuring of organisations and the application of information technology. He was general director of Orga-Info (1980-1986), the first organisation in the Netherlands acting in this specific area. He designed for many organisations: the architecture for a coherent structure of information systems and for the management of the ICT-aspect: among them various private and public companies (1980-1986), Statistics Netherlands (1986-1994) and the Technical University of Delft (1996-1997). From 1990 until 1995 he was the head of the automation department of Statistics Netherlands. He was the architect and main co-ordinator of the TELER project in which the approach of combining data from the enterprises and from the questionnaires of the data collectors has been experienced. He contributed to many national and international publications on theoretical and practical aspects of the application of information technology in organisations in general and more specific on the data capture process in the area of official statistics.
As founder and general director of Tensor (1994-1996) he supplied standard software for the logistics in the transport area. He founded in 1996 a software company that develops complex information systems. All of the projects are based on modern technologies, using Internet and the three layers structure: client, middleware and database. His company "Lizatec" plays an important role in the development and maintenance of the SuperCollect software. |
